Years ago before Maureen sold Tarte my favorite line. Tried to use several items couple years ago allergic reactions ended my love affair.

Remember when the packaging was beautiful looks childish now.

@Sweet_Serenity   Not sure why your allergies kicked in, but the products are nicely packaged.

Um?! My allergies didn't kick in! Experienced "Allergic Reactions!"

We can agree to disagree. In my opinion having used the line previously indeed the packaging looks cheap. No! Wouldn't gift to anyone.

The TSV is nice for gifting. I use a number of Tarte items and I can say with confidence none of the quality or packaging has gone down hill over the years. The eyeshadow palettes are in heavy and pretty cases and their shadows are so great. I like the blushes, lipsticks, foundations, and concealer too. They have started marketing heavily to a much younger crowd in recent years, and have some cutesy packaging as a result. A lot of cosmetic companies are doing this now (Too Faced especially). As long as it’s not ALL cutesy stuff specific for teens and 20- somethings I’m fine with it.

I purchased the two tubes of Foundation with the Brush.  I used many years ago, with no issues, except for the limited shades they offered back when...I had to buy two and mix.  Hoping for better results now.  It did look like there were some shades that were not yellow undertone based.

When Maureen owned the company I use to buy Tarte products. Since selling, I find for me, the quality just isn't there. I can't recall the last time I bought anything from this line.

Cute. But way too many orange and tangerine tones for my complexion.

That is good to hear that the quality has not changed.  Too bad I can't say the same for whoever bought Laura Mercier.  They are changing everything.

Why surprised? Bobby Brown's many favorites vanished and quality once praise worthy no longer the case. Happens all the time. Gee, Hopefully Josie Maran never sells! aleast while I'm still living. From my lips to God's ears. Woman Very Happy
