@Fluke67  I signed on w/ Bobbi shortly after she started her line. I learned from the best in her New Jersey studio. I spent 2 wks. training with her and her top artists. Then started going to various dept. stores selling BB. Checked back in w/ her for training as new products joined the line. From there, about 5 yrs. later, I started “floating” between other makeup lines, as well. It’s a lot like painting, so a natural for me...color, balance, shapes of face/features...I still enjoy it, but only work on private clients. Much like my jewelry, it’s repeat customers or referrals.

@Shanus if I’m ever in your neck of the woods (where ever that is) I’ll book a session!

@Fluke67  Would love that. It’s a relaxing hour and I also can do Bobbi Brown’s Makeup Kit Makeover. We go through what you own, colors that don’t work, save what does and only fill in products where needed. Women seem to love that hour. They’ve accumulated so much stuff they rarely use, but hang onto...just in case. We meet in your bathroom and organize, clean out old, outdated makeup/skincare. Narrow down your makeup to 3 categories: quick 5 minute face, every day makeup and special occasion face. You’d also have a workable morning and evening skincare session. Of course, it’s just a list after seeing your skin, suggestions. You can replace items for new ones, say, “no” & keep what you have used. It’s just interesting to get another opinion.

@Shanus  I'm in the Fair to Light category, the shades on your chart look so fresh and pretty.

I cannot wear powder blush, it's just too chalky and drying for me.  I have had the most difficult time finding a natural looking pink cream blush, either too glittery, bubblegum or pinky pink.  I gave up and defaulted to a nude cream blush.  I'm not crazy about it, but it is the most natural looking I could find.

@Quinny  I understand, I’m a cream blush person, too. I use NARS O stick blush...does have a bit of glitter (barely visible). Sometimes when I’m a paler pink lipstick, I use that as my blush as well.
