Re: TAKING MYSTERY OUT OF BLUSH SHADES

I certainly agree with the Fair options. My three powder blushes are Benefit Dandelion, TheBalm Balm Beach and Wet n Wild Color Icon Ombre blush in The Princess Daquiries, a soft peach.  I think I read a recent opinion on here that peach blush doesn’t look good on anyone, but it does on me😎.

I am a fair to light and I wish I could find the colors shown on your pictures.  Impossible.  I do like Nars O because it a pink/peach and goes with many different complexions but it would be nice to find some lighter shades of blush.

I usually buy the light shade in a foundation,  but prefer a darker blush than those shown in this chart.  Otherwise,  I look like I have no blush on at all.   I prefer cream blushes - love those by doll10 - since I have dry skin.

@Katcat1  You may want to try Bobbi Brown’s Nude Pink. It’s a very, light pink powder blush. If you like cream blushes, pale shades are more difficult to find. I NARS O, too. The very pale shades may be OK for younger women, but I need a bit more color.

@LexaMom  Of course, these shades are quite general suggestions and you can wear any shade you prefer. It shows apricot for fair skin, but I can’t wear it.

Thank you. This is spot on for my coloring. I am a medium and these are the shades that I like to wear. Although in the summer I do wear Coral too.

@Tricolor. I think this chart is useful, but not definitive. 🌸

Re: TAKING MYSTERY OUT OF BLUSH SHADES

Many years ago, back in the 70's, a very famous makeup artist was applying makeup to my very fair complexion  and mentioned how I should never wear peach blush. I asked him why and he told me that I would never naturally blush peach so to refrain from using it. That makeup artist was Way Bandy and I never forgot what he said. I tried Orgasm from Nars and it looked terrible on me.
