Re: Super sensitive, dry skin

I find Tatcha products do not bother my sensitive skin. They have a couple of different moisturizers. You can buy mini size to try at Sephora, if interested.

A very well knowm NYC dermatologist told me stop using soap any where on my body as it only dries the skin. He old me to use a baby shampoo. Ive been using a clean baby wash for years and no longer have dry areas on my face. I use Argon oil on my face and body and a Shea butter body moisturizer. All products are clean and are from Amazon.

When my skin gets dry in the winter I use Jojoba oil and it never breaks me out.

First I'll apply the Jojoba Oil, I use Desert Essence,I'll let that sink in then I apply DHC Super Collagen Cream.  In the summer I'll use Rich Moisture, a lighter one, by the same brand.

Re: Super sensitive, dry skin

We travel to cold climates a lot in Winter (husband is a skier), and I always bring a tube of Aveeno with me.  I find it to be very gentle and mild, and good for the skin.

At home we use vaseline body lotion with aloe.

I try to avoid all creams that have a lot of artificial ingredients and scents.

For a splurge and intensive but delicate support, I would recommend Chantecaille botanicals, such as the Vital essence serum.

Re: Super sensitive, dry skin

I have super dry skin and don't know how it could be any drier.

It's been a struggle, but I use Neutrogena or Paula's Choice face cleanser for dry skin.

Neutrogena Ultra Gentle Foaming Facial Cleanser, Hydrating Face Wash for Sensitive Skin, Gently Cleanses Face Without Over...

Paula's Choice SKIN RECOVERY Cream Cleanser for Extra Sensitive, Redness and Rosacea Prone Skin, Normal to Very Dry Facial...

Paula's Choice Cleanser for Dry Skin

Paula's Choice moisturizer for dry skin

I also alternate using Retin-A (had to build up to using).

Sometimes I'll use Argan oil or Squalane oil for moisture, just to change things.

Anything by Paula's Choice that's for dry skin has been good for me.

@LillyandHobo   Aveeno has an entire line of gentle products for redness and sensitive skin. There are cleansers and moisturizers.

If you use any skincare w/ actives, I'd back off them for awhile.

Re: Super sensitive, dry skin

After I achieved a certain age 🤣 I have only broken out twice, both times from a new product.  I would look to ingredients.

Thank you all so much for your suggestions! I will definitely be using some of these ideas. So nice to have a place to go for feedback and ideas from people experiencing some of the same issues!
