I currently have 3 in my rotation that I really like.

DRMTLGY tinted mineral

Beauty of Joseon (very inexpensive but feels great on the skin)

Josie Maran Sun Milk

None of these irritate my eyes and they play well with my foundations.

I don't wear sunscreen because I hate the Sun and live in a cave

I don't know what type of skin you have....oily or dry etc. but I have tried so many sunscreens and and hated all of them.  The only one I have used and bought a second bottle was Ghost Democracy.   I have oily skin still at 72 and this one has no oils, parabens, or silicone (if I remember correctly).

It does not leave a white cast and I don't feel it all day.  It works with foundation or alone.  So far no adverse effects like breakouts.

I just tried Josie Maran Sun milk and that felt greasy going on and stayed greasy.  It never sets or dries.  Might be great if you have dry skin that would suck it in.

I agree with @JeanLouiseFrench.  I use a finishing powder made by ColorScience. Expensive, but lasts forever almost.

I rarely use a sunscreen but always use a finishing powder.

The I have always gone back to, Australian Gold Tinted Sunscreen and Colorscience. Both are mineral. Austrailian Gold in the morning, then Colorscience for touch-ups during the day!

I'm skeptical with mineral sunscreens. They say 'no white cast' but that's never the case for me. Also, my derm recommends chemical sunscreens. She says they work better at protecting the skin from the sun. I've been sunburned while wearing mineral sunscreens but not with chemical ones.

@SilleeMee, Is there one that will not burn the eyes out of my head??? I have developed an intolerance and I have been wearing sunscreen since it was a thing!!!

@tiny 2

I've been using Skin Aqua Gel sunscreen spf 50 and I don't have any problems with it. No burning of the eyes at all for me. I know how irritating that is b/c I have experienced the same thing with some other sunscreens I've used in the past.

@SilleeMee

Thank you,

I will try it. I seem to be moving toward an allergic reaction...so odd after so  many years. The burning starts and goes on for 2 to 3 days alternating with calmness and then my eyes swell and burn again. Ugh! I waited a week or so and tried some on my chin in small areas with a gloved hand but the eyes were swollen shut in no time.

One I use that doesn't leave a white cast is Kinship Self Reflect Rose. It has zinc in it and is tinted. My skin is pretty fair and I don't see a white cast at all, but if your skin is darker you might. It's looks kind of dewy, so I'm thinking it might be too heavy when it gets real hot and humid. But so far it's working fine for me and my skin is extremely sensitive.

@SurferWife ...have you ordered the Naturium sunblock for face yet?  I keep going back n forth with this one and Neutrogena...but I like that Naturium doesn't have alcohol in it...Neutrogena does, yet its said to be hydrating.    I just don't want anything greasy, Naturium  is said to be dewy, a moisturizer...hmmm??

I'm leaning more towards it.

Any opinions??

@LuvSoCal

I also enjoy Beauty of Joseon . On my 4th tube of it . I have oily acne prone skin . This is so lightweight , doesn't clog pores or break me out and works well under make up .
