I usually use a moisturizer with spf, but I decided to try something new. I purchased a moisturizer without spf. Now I need a sunscreen. I would prefer something light with an spf of at least 30.      Thanks for your suggestions.

I would highly recommend anything from the EltaMD line.  You didn't say what your skin type is, so I can't recommend anything specific.  I live in Florida and have to protect my face 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  I discovered EltaMD about 5 years ago and have never looked back.  Works beautifully under makeup.  They have several different formulations both tinted and un-tinted.  Look up reviews online and you'll see how highly recommended this brand is.

Even though I like Josie's SPF 47, I still use a moisturizer with it. I don't like to rely on a moisturizer with an SPF in it all by itself. Just not sure if one gets the protection that is needed. Needless to say I love Josie's SPF. BTW I have dry skin so the added moisture is not too much for my skin. You did not mention your skin type. For me I would not want anything that gives a matte finish.

@Janey2   I keep two on hand. I use Neutrogena Hydaboost for every day dog walking, etc. when I'll be washing/showering right after (not too expensive). For under makeup or wear all day,  I have Skinceuticals Sheer Physical UV Defense Broad Spectrum SPF 50. There's also a slightly tinted version. It's very lightweight, can't feel it on my face and sometimes use a moisturizer under it. My Vit. C serum is for dry skin and has an oily finish and sometimes is enough moisture before using it.

@Tink814 ,  I wear this whenever I can't get a good deal on Josie's SPF or if I just want something more affordable. It's great for dry skin too.

@Janey2    If it's for your body alba Botanica has an unscented spray for the body that is wonderful.  For the face check out Neutrogena for the face.
