I get these when I use mascara. I don't use mascara often because they give me styes. Because I don't use mascara often, I forget why and I end up with a stye.

I got a Zoom mascara from a MAC GWP. The stye is very prominent.

Does anyone have a home remedy that worked? I'm currently doing warm compresses.

Use a tea bag (green tea or black tea). Brew yourself a cup of tea to drink and use the bag as a compress. You don't want it real hot. Let it cool down to where it's still warm, but easy to handle. Use a new teabag each time you do this, you can do it a few times a day.

I used warm compresses as well. I get them once in a blue moon and I use the compress plus I lightly run my very clean nail over it lightly. I also use visine to keep the whole area clean.

Thanks JLF!!!!

I learned about the hot tea bag the hard way (huge mosquito bite).

UGH! All of my teas are k-cups. I'll check hubby's stash.

If hubby is on his way home from work, maybe you can catch him in time to have him stop for teabags.

Maybe you can try some Benadryl, in the meantime.

Colloidal silver (natural, safe antibiotic) on a cotton ball and brushed over the area a couple times a day when I first notice I am getting one always gets rid of them before they completely develop.

JLF, the tea bags are a warm compress, so I'll keep doing that.

I used Benedryl cream (bought it for my waxed brows) and it didn't do anything. My brows weren't red, though!

wild, the stye is already developed.

I always used hot boiling water with boric acid. Soaked a cotton ball in it and placed it on my stye, gone in a day or two.
