Stretching the Volumizing Treatment Mist

Now this is just my experience...but I still get good results using half water and half VTM mixed together. I use it ONLY for hold on my chin-length layered bob.

If you want to try this, I suggest putting some VTM in another bottle and adding water. Don't water down a whole brand new bottle only to find that you don't like it! {#emotions_dlg.scared}

That's awesome vermint--ty for sharing!! Smiley Happy

I do that too...with the mousse even! My hair does volume no prob so I always can use less styling prods. Smiley Happy

Good idea mixing in another bottle! I do that as well after messing up a whole bottle of vts.lol

Hi vermint! Great minds think alike! I do this also. I found that it was too sticky otherwise. Never thought of trying it with the mousse like Chickenmoo but will now thanks to your post !

Re: Stretching the Volumizing Treatment Mist

HMMMMMM! I don't find the SAM or POM sticky but I have a bottle of LAV that I just can't use. Wonder if this will help!? I've thought about mixing in some RTM instead of water, has anyone tried that?

chickenmoo! I am down to my last few drops of mousse on 3 different formulas (holding out for the June newbies and deals!). I was wondering if I could add something to them to make them still foam up? You add water and it still pumps foam? Have you tried RTM? I suppose since I'm down to the last bit I could try.

Put your remaining mousse 'liquid' mixed with some warm water into a foaming hand soap container.

Re: Stretching the Volumizing Treatment Mist

Hey Miss K Smiley Happy sorry for the delayed reply (stupid work!lol)

I just add more water to the mousse bottle...How much water you add is based on how much mousse liquid you have left and how 'loose' of a hold you want. I can refill my regular mousse that way *many* times! I just add a bit of water, and pump as normal...and when it gets too low to pump, I add water again...and keep doing that until it doesn't foam anymore--then I know I got all the mousse out. It made my mousse supply seem never-ending...like it took me a good year to get through the pomegranate one--I think I just got rid of the bottle--and it was from the very first batch launched on QVC!lol Talk about stretching something.....lol

I haven't tried adding RTM...sounds good though Smiley Happy I've gotten so when I want really fluffy shiny hair, I use 613 mousse mixed with a few drops of oil on dry hair--just work it through..gives me mad shine and volume without being even remotely dry or stiff! (Sorry to go OT there lol)

I add water to alot of my Wen to make it stretch and get all out of the bottle--I've added a little aloe vera leaf juice too but mostly just water--works great for me!

You're welcome!

To all who mentioned adding RTM...that might work, too. I just use water because I'm trying to save $'s.

Normally I find the RTMs too sticky, but now I wonder if adding water would help. Thanks for the idea!
