I was in a Sephora last weekend and they had the new Urban Decay lash curler, The Revolution. It looks weird, but I just had to give it a try. It's got a good design for the handles. There's a wing that comes off of the one finger loop like haircutting scissors have that you rest your middle finger on for better control. And that's the only thing I like! For some reason, it's really hard for me to line up with my upper lashes, so I keep getting my bottom lashes in it. Maybe if it was silver or a bright color it would be easier to see where you should put it. When I finally got just my upper lashes in it, I pinched my lid. So it's time to try to line it up again. I finally got it in the right spot and gave a squeeze. Instead of getting a curl, my lashes went straight up. I look very surprised. Then, by the time I got my lid primer and shadow on and reached for the mascara my lashes had already drooped. I've tried it on two different mornings and had the same results both times.

So I'm giving it two thumbs down and returning it.
