I just picked up a spicy pear cobbler from tj maxx tonight and I really should have smelled it first, but I thought for the price it was a good deal. A six ounce for seven dollars. Not exactly what I expected. The pear seems to smell more like apple, which is not a bad thing I suppose, but the cinnamon is very synthetic smelling. Almost like a really bad air freshener spray. I don't think that I have ever had a gel from philosophy that I didn't like, but I think that I will mix this with a simple vanilla and make it a little sweeter. Has anyone else tried this scent yet?

Me too....I have several of those white fruit scents sold at Holiday times....love them! I got the set this year too - A239145 the trio of Sparkling Christmas Day scents...so lovely, shimmery and smells fantastic! I didn't watch the presentation, so when they came and were all shimmery, I was really delighted with the presentation! That was a good set worth ordering!

I also picked up a small bottle of the spicy pear cobbler a few months ago at TJM, and agree with you, OP. It smells nice in the bottle, but I'm not impressed once it's used. I also feel it's rather "chemical" smelling. But hating to waste things, especially money, I am still using it now and then trying to get it finished up. That's one on the list to avoid in the future for me.
