Hey my forum friends-
I've been dealing with the declining health of my only living elder relative, so obviously it's been very upsetting and I'm trying to spend as much time with her as possible. I've jumped in to oversee that she's getting the best care possible. She's been like a mother to me since my own Mom's untimely death, and even loves to talk beauty. *smile*
I often give her new tips and products to try out which is so much fun for both of us.
I promise to get back to those who had comments (thank you) once work and the situation with my dear aunt settles down. I want to become more active again, share ideas and read your thoughts in this amazing community.
If you're inclined to do so, keep my Aunt Nancy in your thoughts that she pulls through this most difficult health challenge. I'm not ready to let her go and I know she's not ready. She's always been so full of life and young at heart- a true beauty.
I appreciate the kindness of you all. ![]()

@Funloving, so sorry to hear about your dear Aunt Nancy. If you ever need to talk, I am going through a very similar situation now with my mom. She is 94 and honestly up to this point has done very well. My dad died 11 years ago so I took over taking her to her appointments, paying bills, and grocery shopping for her. In March I began to notice a change in her mentally. Moved her into a personal care home in June. Two weeks ago she fell and fractured her ankle in 2 places. Last Thursday she was sent to skilled nursing. On Monday was rushed back to ER. Had a perforated ulcer. In ICU now. I am very concerned that she won't get her strength back to be mobile again. I am afraid she will be in a nursing home in a wheelchair for the duration of her time on this earth. I feel so bad for her seeing her like this now. My prayers go out to you and your Aunt Nancy. Take care.

My aunt has a tough road ahead, but she got past one big hurdle. I'm extremely grateful.
Thanks again. Your notes of compassion mean so much to me!
