Nick Chavez was the first to bring the product Angel Wings to QVC that you clap your hands together to get the fiber effect.

@monicakm it's a cream that you rub in your hands and then clap them together and it creates fiber-like effect between your hands.  The idea is that you then put it into your hair and it adds volume.

@monicakm No, if I remember correctly, you put it through your hair.  I've never used either one.

When you say that it creates a fiber effect, does it create a type of fiber netting that you wrap your head in?  That's a pretty cool gimmick.

It was to give your hair texture.

I like it(calista embellish).  Many don't like it because it wafts all around the place as you clap your hands together, you have to be careful about that.  It gives volume, texture and is helpful with styling.

It's definitely NOT for curly or wavy hair. I ordered it once, clapped away as shown on TV and at the time there was a video online. My hair was stuck together and ballooned out. I looked like I was wearing a fright wig...or BOZO the clown!!! It was returned the next day.

Years ago I did use a product from Nick that was similar to what I assume Calista's is.   I think I received Nick's version as part of a kit, but so long ago I've discarded all records.   I do know that product work fairly well, but I eventually discarded the shampoo and hair spray.

I have such different hair now from then that I buy what I know works, most likely because I've tried it when I go for my regular cut, color, and style appointments.  Most likely more costly, but not terribly because I know I'm going to use what I pay for.   Sometimes there's a learning curve, but she's okay with second lessons!

I have tried the Embellish in the past.  It was ok.  I think I didn't like the clapping and never bought it again.  I also have a couple of the Claista tools.  While I like them, i rarely reach for them.  So I stopped buying from the brand.

Same with Nich Chavez.  I used the Angel Wings and Flocker in the past.  Come to think of it... I have also tried, used and moved on from Ojon, Wen.  Now I am on Tweaked.  LOL

I use Nick's flocker almost every day.  Works well for my hair.

Chelsea Scott brought this to HSN years ago too.
