@febe1 wrote:Thanks for the responses on the sonic cleansing. Evine has 32 oz. Consult Beautecleanser for $49. with their $99. sonic cleanser. No batteries and you can charge for two months worth of twice a day.
I thought this looked like a good deal as they cut $l0. off their cleanser. I hope I like it as much as some of you do. I like to clean it, you just rinse in warm water. No constant new brushes. And they're promoting as a great exfoliater.
Looking forward to getting it. Thanks again....
@febe1- it's a good deal for today, but there's no way that cleansing tool is worth $99. It's the same thing as the $20 versions on Amazon. My Amazon cheapie has lasted me way longer than my genuine Foreo Luna Mini did ($$$ on HSN and konked out at right around a year). My knockoff also keeps a charge for like four months. I'm just telling you this in case you ever want to replace yours or get gifts.

If you asked me, I think that evine's claim that the sonic device is worth $99 is a stretch. You can find many of those kinds of devices in a lot of places for a lot less.
BTW...my Foreo dupe has a battery charge that lasts at least 6 months before I have to plug it in again.

@SilleeMee You and some of the other ladies talked about the foreo dupe a long while ago. Thanks to you I found a dupe on ebay for under 10.00 including shipping. I always love your advice. I know you always do your research.![]()
The top value is a good deal only if you really want to try the cleanser, so throwing the sonic tool in is just a little bonus.
I still have the old school original clarisonic. I only use it once a week as a deep cleansing facial. I use it in conjuction with a deep pore cleanser. The claims they are making today about all the bacteria only makes me question as to why someone doesn't clean their sonic brush properly. I remember a viewer calling in when Susanne Somers was selling her tool. She said that her clarisonic was moldy. I was thinking, Girl, aren't you cleaning your tools after you use it????

Thank you @beautybee
I'm glad that I helped you find what you wanted. There's a lot of ladies here who have helped me, too.

I agree, @JeanLouiseFinch. I would never have paid $99. for it. I'll return it if I think it's not worth it or don't like the cleanser. I especially like their sell on the exfoliating feature and the many power features. Does the Amazon have that? I also got the skin polish which they recommended to use with it. I'm looking to have some very very new skin...![]()
I have become a user of their SuperBeets, also. I just love them and have taken it for about a year now. Love them. Thanks again for the information, Jean. ![]()

@febe1 The exfoliating feature is debatable, IMO. The Pop Sonic version makes the same claim, and again, the Amazon versions are made the same way, but I just don't know how silicone nubs will exfoliate the same way as a gentle microdermabrasion product would (the Consult Beaute skin polish, for instance). The exfoliation debate isn't only with this type of device, though. Some people believe a Clarisonic exfoliates, and I can see why, but the vendor himself only calls it a cleansing tool. Ultimately, you'll have to decide for yourself but for me personally, I use the sonic cleansing tool for cleansing alone and employ other methods for exfoliation.

I guess I'll find out. Like you, if I like it, I'll use the sonic instead of my two Clarisonics, just for the cost of new brushes and bacteria spread of brushes. Dr. Terry recommends using twice a day! I'll notice if it's exfoliating. I have a lot of Dermapeel, which I like but think it may be a bit harsh.
Nice talking to you, Jean.

So now I think I need one of these ~ it seems so much more compact than my clarisonic( actually have the Michael Todd one ~ supposeley hypoalergenic ) ~ which half the time I dont use becasue of water splattering etc.
Any suggetions on which "shape " is better ? I went on Amazon and there are a ton under $20.

Ok what is up with the nonsense of the clarisonic spreading germs and getting slimy and nasty??? Mine NEVER has ever been that way-- if you take care of it---you take the brush head off rinse it under hot water ,let it air dry and you do the same with the machine itself too!!! Are you cleaning the grout on your tile with it or something----Or leaving it in a pool of shower water?? Just don't get it. Yes the brushes are pricy but I buy mine online for a fraction of the cost and they are the same thing. the sonic rubber thing is ok---got mine online for way less than the consult beauty hype and its the SAME thing. Don't use it much, I like my sonic brush 10x better.

@CoastalGalSome might say one with a point is better for getting into tight spots but I don't think the shape matters a whole lot. Get what you think you would like.
