That is what the eye dr. told me to use and you're right; they work very well.
Thanks ladies! I searched for this online and see that Drugstore.com seems to have them on sale now which makes them at much better price than Walgreen's or CVS. I ordered the reg and the plus.
So anxious to try this and my order should arrive by the 24th. Thanks again!![]()

Hi hon. I have the same condition-so annoying. The other day I put sterile eye drops in my eyes because they were so dry and itchy-and the eye drops burned like crazy!!! A humidifier does help, and lord jknows QVC pushes humidifiers all the time, As for your lid dilemma, whatever you do,be careful with eye creams=people think because a product says "hypoallergenic" that its safe-the term is meaningless, even if a cream has no fragrance,or uses "natural" ingredients, its still can cause a bad reaction,
I don't use any cream around my eyes-I dab a little bit of Estee Lauder Night Repair all around at night and in the morning,I mean a very small amount,it has an almost watery texture and it absorbs instantly,I like that it leaves no greasiness on the eye, which tends to wander around inevitably into the eye,
I have several different cleansers,I really like DHC olive oil facial cleanser.
I live in Texas,so the air is dry all the time-so do research a good humidifier, and experiment with products,DHC will send you 4 free samples that last a few days,That is how I discovered them, And I have been known to use baby shampoo as a cleanser.
I was watching a "philosophy" hour the other day and the lady,I think her name is Heidi, was going on and on about whatever product was being presented, but I was too distracted by her very noticable puffiness around her eyes, and bags under her eyes,Bizarre only because she was talking about how people ask her "if she has had work done"-probably would not have noticed it at all if she wasn't talking about what miraculous results you get from whatever new cream,Ok -have a great day and holiday as well

@Tigriss wrote:You can do the argan oil or try Paula's Choice Moisture Renewal Oil. I have eczema and use a bit of my Medicine Mama's Moisturizer I picked up after someone raved about it here. It works well for my eczema and reduces my flare ups without steroid creams from the doctor. That has worked the best so far. I also use Eucrin's cream in the tub.
@Tigriss, I might have been the raver. :-) Regardless, I am so glad that you like that beauty balm.
I would add to this thread by saying that for some with very dry or flaking lids, a visit to the derm might be in order to rule out any disorder.

I had this issue for over a year & half.
Dr's no help at all. After a ton of trying i now use Clinique All about Eye's..MOISTURE RICH....has to be this one.. My eyelids were so damaged i never thot they would be healed again. I am happy to say they almost look the way they used too. I use morning an night, and so grateful. I dont use any eye shadows at all, only light swipe of eye concealer..hope you find what helps you..

Argan would probably fine. I've been using that new honey Divine Argan butter from Josie all around my eyes including lids and it's worked great.
