Smear-proof lipstick?

  I've tried a couple of smear-proof lipsticks ----- they were sticky and VERY drying --- does anyone have any recommendations for a lipstick that will stay?

I have bought several tubes of Cover Girl, which is not advertised as "long wearing", but I feel that it is!  It is kind of in a matt pink tube.  I just lookekd it up on line --- I believe it is called "Colorlisious".  There are a gazillion colors to choose from.  Any time I wear one of these, they really hang in and don't smear.  You might try these!  Most long wearing ones are very drying!

The only thing that works for me and you do have to reapply just not constantly is lip stain. I bought one the other day that was too dark for me and it was on for hours.
