Bloomed up in my Facebook Newsfeed.  Smashbox is coming out with a new primer designed to minimize pores.  It's called Pore-Vanishing Photo Finish primer.  It drops on 3/24.

I remember years ago trying a smashbox primer to reduce pores. I also remember it didn't. Maybe they reformulated the product.

Wow what a blast from the past I used Smashbox at least 30 if not more years ago.  There was a wonderful makeup artist at the old Lord and Taylor flagship store on Fifth Ave who used to do my make up all the time

Still have some Photofinish somewhere.  Does it go bad?

I see that QVC still sells a lot of Smashbox products, and a lot of primers online. I don't rememnber the last time I have actually seen a Smashbox show or even heard them talk about Smashbox products.

I remember years ago they were very popular with Holly Mordini as the rep........She was the Best!!!

@foxywoods that may depend on who you ask.  I'm sure the experts would tell you not to use it.  I'm more of a try it and see sort of person.

If I'm remembering correctly, the Smashbox primers were very siliconey, as were most any primer at the time.  I remember people were also using some other silicone-based drugstore products as primer.  I moved away from Smashbox when I found primers that didn't have that greasy silicone feel even if they were still silicone based.

@Icegoddess   thanks...yes it is very heavy with cones.  I bought it because it seemed very popular then. Some posters said Monistat also worked as a primer.
