Had surgery for drooping eye lid. After a few years it now droops again.

Anyone have this procedure done on their eyes?I had a regular bleph. Not painful at all during or after. At most a thirty minute procedure.
Didn't even need a Tylenol. My eyes look exactly the same as before hooding, no surprise look- that's the result of a bad surgeon. Mine was not covered by insurance. I was tired of droopy lids and wearing eye makeup made my lids look worse! Now I'm so happy to wear eye makeup again!
So it didn't improve the appearance of your lids?

I had the uppers done several years ago and should have had it done 10 years before that! Surgery was quick and easy and virtually no pain. I've never had a black eye and didn't get them even though they said I would. Just a small bruise in the corner of each eye. Since they interferred with my vision Medicare covered the procedure. My eye doctor had to perform the perperipheral vision test to satisfy the insurance and I automatically raised my eyebrows so that I would pass...........he told me not to do it because I needed to fail in order for the insurance to pay. Just a heads up in case you decide to have it done.

It's easy to cheat on the Vision Field Test. They have you view the computer screen. I just hit the floating dots when they got close to the center of the screen.
Then when they taped my lids open I hit the dots right after they started floating.
I was too nervous to go through w/surgery though because even though my insurance would pay at the time, the surgeon had little experience plus I thought he might remove too much of my eyelids because I "cheated". So - don't cheat!!
