Short haired gals, please help!!

I have had short hair for awhile now, which I don't love. Part of the reason I don't love it is because I just can't seem to find products that keep it looking good all day. It looks fine in the morning but by mid day it's lost it's hold. Any suggestions on good styling products and or hair spray would be great. Its fairly thick, color treated and on the dry side. Also, I try not to wash it everyday so I need something that will allow me to just restyle the second day with a little spritz of water.
