Short hair

How many of you ladies had long hair then cut it short and loved it? I like Ellie krieger from the food net work hair cut. It is so cute on her, but I don't know if it is easy to do? I have had the same shoulder length hair for awhile am getting tired of it. I have tried mid length cuts but I end up fighting with it, I think it needs to be long or short. So again any longer hair beauties chop it off and were happy?
