I have 2 questions for you...

I have been wearing my hair in a pixie style for years. Recently, my stylist started using a 1/2 inch flat iron on my hair and I loved the results! She had just recently purchased it because she was tired of burnng her fingers trying to flat iron short hair with a regular 1 inch iron.

She also used a new styling pomade/wax/cream from Pravana, it was fabulous! I was going to ask her the precise name of it and we got involved in another conversation and I forgot.

Do any of you use a 1/2 inch flat iron? What kind is it? Do you like it?

Also, what type od pomade/wax/cream product do you use for your final styling?

I do not have short hair but I do use a thermal glove if I am flat ironing my hair

I have a Conair mini travel flat iron that is 1/2"". I like it better than a pricey full size Chi flat iron.

When I had a long pixie, I bought a 1/2" Conair, full sized flat iron. They make one. I'll try and find it for you. I tried the mini flat irons and found with my super fine, super thick hair, I need a real flat iron. While the Conair one doesn't seem to be avaliable, the one below has the grooves for curling if you want and guiding the hair and it is cheaper and prime shipping.

This is the one I got at WalMart for around $25. The second one I found at amazon, cheaper and same size.

You are welcome Quinny. I used mine so much with my short hair and still use it for tighter curls.
