I'm sure Pat was told what to say. She's been around long enough not to make statements that aren't scripted. I would hope Shawn signed off on it as well. I'm glad Shawn won't be back for a while to put some distance between the announcement. Hopefully, everyone will respect her wishes.

I have also been through the same and it is very tough!! And people will say the darndest things...I know they meant well, but some of the comments were just not appropriate at this time! As you stated...best not to comment!

I totally agree with HAPPYDAZE and every post she made since her first one here.

I had posted something similar at the time of all of the comments, speculations, gossip, etc. and got a lot of rude remarks from people.

I am so very, very sorry this has happened, but I have already prayed that the Lord will restore her and allow her and Joe to have a baby if it is His will.

I don't think this is the place or a reason for all who have been through this to tell about themselves. The focus here is for prayer for Shawn. We know how often it happens to others, as does she. That wouldn't comfort me at all while being as devastated as she did.

I pray her faith will guide her through at this time.

My thoughts and prayers go out to her. My mother lost twin boys at 7 months gestation before my 2 sisters & I were born. My parents had even picked out names for them, Daryl and David. She told me about them, believe it or not, after I had seen Disney's original The Parent Trap movie in the early 1960's. I told her I thought it would be neat if I had a twin, and she said I had identical twin brothers, but they were in Heaven.
