I just signed up for Sephora's " Play" subscription box. Have any of you ladies subscribed to this, and are you pleased with the samples you get??? TIA

There is another thread I started about this. I just got my second box last week. I have to say I have been underwhelmed by both boxes, although the June box was slightly better than the May. These products are nothing more than deluxe size samples you would use your 100 points to redeem. I really don't think I'll get more than the July box and cancel since I don't feel the $10.89 a box is worth what you get. If you could use the $10 to spend on a full size product that would be great. I f you do decide to cancel I think you have to call Sephora.

No, I don't think they give you any clues. I don't know why I never learn! I had ipsy and Allure Beauty Box, and cancelled them both. I have wised up to the "mystery" product offer ( Philosophy and Bare Minerals).

Thanks, I debated about signing up, as I already cancelled the Allure beauty box , however I'll give it a try. Thanks for the review.

I just got an email today that I can now sign up.  Did so immediately.  Can't wait to see what will be in the shipment.  Although seeing some of your replies maybe I'll be disappointed.

You get your $10 worth but don't raise your expectations beyond that price. I like it because rarely finish full size products, so this is a perfect way to try out a lot of different brands and actually use up the product. Really liked this month. Some months are better than others but overall have liked this sub. Plus, you get 10 points and a card to show at the store for an extra 50pts if you purchase any product.

I tried the PLAY! subscription for 3 months.  I gave all the boxes away because I was not impressed.  Like it had been said, the products are just deluxe samples that you would normally get in the 100 points.

Instead I signed up for Glossybox.  It is more expensive, $20 a month but it is so worth it.  The products are bigger and each month the cost of products range about $50-$60 in value.  The presentation is just beautiful and glamorous and can make a fabulous gift during the month for someone.  Each month is themed, and the presentation represents that.  I am so thrilled with the glossybox.  I think it is the number one beauty box subscription and now I know why.

I also signed up for Play very recently (have not gotten my first box yet, unsure if I will get the June box or wait until July).

Thanks for the glossybox recommendation @sunshinestory, I am going to go check it out.
