Thats absolutely ridiculous to spend $10/year for 2-day shipping!! What a gimmick! All other companies give you fast delivery for FREE! Sephora has jumped the shark. If they can't handle their sales then maybe they shouldn't have them anymore. Ulta is looking better and better to me now.

@ID2  Sephora does offer free 3 day shipping on $50 orders, but with the "Flash" 2 day shipping (which costs $10/year) there is no minimum dollar amount required per order.  If you just have one inexpensive item to order, you can receive it in 2 days.  Their free 3 day shipping on $50 orders is nice, too, but there are times when I only have 1 item I need to order, and it's under $50, so the "Flash" shipping is great. I'm not always in a rush to receive an item, and I can usually wait longer to receive something, but I have to say I love having free 2 day shipping with no minimum!

I know Macy's now offers free shipping on beauty items with no minimum, but I don't believe orders are received within 2 days.  And Nordstrom has free shipping on everything, but I don't think it's 2 day ship/receive (although they are fairly quick with their shipping).

So keep shopping at Ulta, they don't sell the brands I'm interested though.

Well it’s not 3 day when there’s a sale! It took 14 days for mine to come, missing my daughter’s birthday which didn’t matter because the item I purchased for her wasn’t even in the carton! Had to go to Ulta and get it. They sent not just the wrong samples, but samples of stuff I hate, and of course I didn’t get the reward I asked for. A big, big fail this year Sephora!! And now again the website doesn’t work on my IPad. Invest in IT or stop promoting your sales.

During the sale periods, the site does state at the checkout screen "due to high volume your order may experience up to 2-3 business days delay," but it sounds like the wait time has been much longer during the sales for some people.  I'm sure part of it is due to how close you are to a warehouse.  I've never had to wait that long -- maybe 10 days a couple of years ago, but I also experience that with some other websites during the big sale days (never more than 2 weeks, though -- ouch!).  But for other times of the year, I think Sephora is great at making sure orders are received within 3 days (and 2 days with Flash shipping).  JMHO
