Re: Sephora VIB Rouge Discount

I am not rouge - Just a plain ole VIB and I got the cards today. One for the onetime use (for a friend) and the other a multiple use. 20% off Nov 6-10. Also mentioned tote, sneak peak at holiday stuff and gift packaging. I didn't see anything about the private shopping party so maybe that is just for rouge.

Thanks Silent, it prompted me to look again at the only two items I buy from Sephora and now they are both out of stock. Have been checking since August when I received a gift card. Hopefully they'll replenish their supply in the next week or so.

I'm letting my *membership* run out.

Lucky, I am so close to another year rouge membership and what I have in my cart will be enough but I think I will get only one more year. I no longer buy from Sephora like I use to..no room and lost interest in most stuff. If I wasn't so close to meeting requirements I would just give it up and not care.

I hope your items come back in stock.

Re: Sephora VIB Rouge Discount

I just got my coupon in the mail. For me it starts on nov. 6th. 20% off is awesome. I have so many Bobbi brown things I want and I may stock up on some favorites.

Re: Sephora VIB Rouge Discount

I don't mind hanging on to the VIB status to get the measly couple of discounts each year. Wouldn't do the rouge. Seems like you don't get all that many benefits for the bucks you spend.

Re: Sephora VIB Rouge Discount

I let my VIB membership expire last year. I finally wised up and realized that they are not really giving you anything for spending money there. A measly 20% coupon--big deal. Nordstrom just had a sale on most of their cosmetics and skin care just last week. They have been doing this about every 3 months or so. Ulta has had some great coupons this year too, even though the brands are more limited, and at least they mail out monthly catalogs. Sephora is too cheap to even do that. I also got tired of too many items being out of stock only for this sale. I felt they were purposely pulling things out of the sale. Just my opinion.

I do like Sephora and will continue to buy things there. I just am not going to try to spend a certain amount in a year just for their silly membership.

Nordstrom will price match plus I like their reward program better than Sephora's.

I am letting mine expire this year too. I will receive the 20% next month for the VIB and I will use it to buy a few mascaras but I will not buy from Sephora anymore because I can get what I want cheaper with extras from the places where I shop such as BobbiBrown.com and Clinique ect. ---My husband is happy that I am done with sephora!
