Called  yesterday to get my code.  Sephora had sent me a postcard saying that the code would come in my email on 12/2.  It to a bit for me to figure out how to use it because it was under gift card status.

Somehow I manage to get the important things done.nails

I like that I can choose where and how I spend my points. I don't want them just giving something that I'll probably never use.

I've been a Sephora Beauty Insider for years but I've never spent enough money in a calender year to qualify as. VIB and I don't care either. The local Sephora in Canada doesn't have the extensive inventory that the Las Vegas store at the Miracle Mile mall on the Strip has. I've bought makeup for myself and my daughter there and they have a lot more travel items and a section of clearance items. And that's why I spent enough money this year to qualify for being a VIB.

It was the $15 off a $50 purchase that got me to buy the bottle of Nest Paradise that I had my eye on in Canada that put me over the top finally. I doubt I'll be a VIB after next year.

I do have to thank QVC in a way as It was through QVC's videoclips of Nest that I heard about this brand. In a way I used QVC.com to virtually showroom the product and tried it in a bricks and mortar store first. I sprayed it on me in store at least 10 times before I bought the rollerball version of Nest Paradise from the Sephora store in Canada.

Yes, sadly this is pretty much the extent of QVC's usefulness to me as well. For the most part,  I watch, learn about the product and if I am interested, see if a local store has it to swatch and check out and then buy at that particular store or another one online as they almost always tend to be cheaper than QVC's prices.

I know it isn't what QVC wants to hear but hey, business is business- I want my dollar to go as far as possible. I have no loyalty to a company besides who gives me the best overall price.

I received my order yesterday.  Shipping and delivery were pretty quick. I didn't order much at all but got to pick a deluxe sample bag.  I don't like the sample packets but do like the deluxe sized samples. It was fun going through that little bag.  Got some new things to try.
