I am 72 years old and my skin has become very sensitive and a lot of products make my face itch. I know there are quite a few products on QVC designated as "clean beauty." But can anyone recomment anything for sensitive skin? I am mainly interested in eye cream and day and night moisturizers.

I've been using Purity Made Simple cleanser and moisturizer for YEARS. I am blonde/blue eyed with sensitive skin and have had absolutely no problems with those products.

From the drugstores try Almay or Physician's Formula - both of them are excellent. From their own website or department store websites, try Clinique. I love Clinique for their moisturizers which are designed for sensitive skin - Daily Moisturizer (pale yellow in color) and Moisture Surge are my favorites. Try any of these for their makeup too. If your skin is sensitive, then you probably want the makeup as well as moisturizers.
The Q carries a small variety of Clinique.
You might also consider buying non-fragrance laundry soap and softeners for your sheets and clothes. Best of luck to you....sensitive skin is a real challenge at times!

The moisturizers from First Aid Beauty are very gentle.

@sblucy My skin is extremely sensitive. My go to product line is Clinique. Moisture Surge saves me during the winter months. I can use Purity to cleanse my face particularly when wearing makeup. It tends to leave my skin feeling dry. I use a toner and then moisturize after cleansing with Purity.
Kiehl's has an avocado eye cream that has never caused me to react. Sensitive skin is trial and error. I may use a product for weeks and then develop a rash or allergic reaction. Take your time adding new products. Good luck. Once you find something, stay with it.

Thank you. I do use Purity Cleanser without any problem. I heard about the Kiehl's Avocado Eye Cream elsewhere also. I may try that.

On It, You're right about Kiehl's avocado eye cream. I forgot about that one because I'm out of it and haven't reordered. Kiehl's also has really nice moisturizers and is for sensitive skin as well.

With these d*mn Tx blustery winds almost daily I found Korres (HSN) olive oil as a aid to dry skin. any plain drugstore moisturizing cream is OK when we don't have to worry about acne any more
Vitamin E oil is good too. (walmart) I like oils .

I tried out some products by Acure last year and found them to be affordable and very nice for drugstore (Amazon) options. You can look them up on Amazon to read about them and checkout the reviews.

I would also recommend anything that is fragrance-free for your face in particular if your skin is sensitive.
Fragrance in skin care can be an irritant.
I also have really sensitive skin, along with different skin conditions on my face, so I have to be careful about what I use on my facial skin.
I had a Dermatologist tell me that the less ingredients that there are in a skin care product, the better off I am because there's less of a chance of something irritating my skin.
Besides Clinique, Olay also makes many of their products fragrance-free for the face.
CeraVe and Vanicream are other fragrance-free brands, and Cetaphil also makes some good products.
Neutrogena does as well.
You'd have to check the ingredients to be sure with these products to see if they have any fragrance added, as some of them may be lightly fragranced.
All of these different brands make eye creams and day and night time moisturizers, and also facial cleansers if you're interested in looking at cleansers, too.
I've also had a good experience with the various store-brand equivalents in some of these products, like the Walgreens equivalent of the Neutrogena Sensitive Skin Moisturizer, or the Walmart Equate brand for the Cetaphil cleansers, for example.
Good luck, and I hope that you find some products that you like.
