I had been plagued with dry flaky skin on my nose and chin for YEARS...plus I was beginning to get redness too.
A column in our local paper, "People's Pharmacy", has home made remedies and suggestions from people. They said to try Selsun Blue (original formula) for rosacea and flaking. Leave it on while you shower - a few minutes. It cuts back on yeast, which often leads to flaking and redness.
I bought some on Sunday. Dabbed it on the problem areas for 10-15 minutes, washed and used argan oil to follow up. I have used this daily now for 4 days.
Today is just Wednesday. The flaking is gone, the redness almost totally gone too.
I prefer to use natural remedies when possible - I guess I'm cheap!
Just a suggestion...

Some use hemp oil for a condition like yours. Put on a little at bedtime. Check reviews for hemp oil on Amazon.

Thanks for the tip. My redness is from broken caps. I hope this works on that, however, when I quit smoking my redness really cut down but I still have a little. I am willing to try this. I love home remedies because 99% of the time they work.

Many years ago, I had a rash all over my neck and chest. It was red, dry, scaly patches that covered almost the entire area. Went to my dermatologist and he told me to use Selsun Blue (leave on overnight and shower off in the morning). It worked in about 2 weeks and I was all cleared up!

Let us know if you try it. I have rosacea and most of the redness isn't from broken caps, mostly it is from inflamed skin. I have my rosacea under control, but I have broken capillaries too. I think about the only thing for broken cappillaries is laser or injections.
