Isn't it amazing? I used it last night and am sitting at my desk admiring my arms today. I have never tried doing more than one coat as it seems a little time consuming, but I do get a full week out of one application. Sephora is the way to go for free shipping.
I am leaning toward getting that one I think. I will see how the PC works. I think the color of the Vita Liberata was the best I have seen so far and I like the duration and I DO NOT want to self tan my towels, sheets, clothes etc if I can avoid it. I have $10 gift card for Sephora that I was planning to use for the urban decay naked 3 palette- but it might go to this instead.
Enjoy your lovely glow!

I love my Tan Towels. They are so easy to use. I like the Bare Minerals Faux Tan and St. Tropez, they both gave me a deep "tan", but I found them too time consuming to use. You have to clean the brush or mitt after each use. The Tan Towels you just toss in the waste bin.
Jergens did not give me much of a glow and I have never tried Kate Somerville's towels.

Another vote for Vita Liberata. I'm on my second bottle and I love the color, no smell, no streaking, nice fade, etc. Good luck!

I remember using a Banana Boat sunless tanner. One side was the tanning lotion other side was a lotion. It was foolproof. I have not seen it in a couple of years. I loved it. This year I have been using Laura Geller Tahitian glow. I notice she does not make this one anymore. I also ordered the tarte maracuja rainforest but I notice it came off on my clothes some. I did use a moisturizer before but felt I gave enough time to dry.

When I worked part time at a dept. store, a lot of women purchased Clarins self tan.

Does the Tarte faux tanner come off on your towel? I ordered it yesterday and wondered if I needed to use an old towel the next day when showering.

The other day my husband said, "you're not doing that [self] tan thing now, are you? It's orange!". He'd love me to go to tanning beds or lay out in the sun, but I have melanoma in my family. I use St. Tropez self tanner. He loves tan skin, but my skin is super fair and this is what I do in the summer. Boo

My all time favorite is tan towels as they are the easiest. I also like Vita Liberata and St Tropez. I have found that (especially on my legs) that I have to use different ones as when I stick to one it tends to build up.
For everyone it is probably different which one is the best. Some swear by different drugstore brands but I've tried them all and they all are orangey on me and blotchy with the strongest smell. I love tan towels but some say on them there is a smell but for me nothing.
I would suggest trying some of the one mentioned and maybe you'll find the ""one"" for you.

I like the application of the St. Tropez mousse but nothing beats the color of Bare Minerals Faux Tan. It looks the most real to me.

Vita Liberata Mousse is the worst for me. I am very fair and this makes my skin REALLY brown to the point of shoe polish color. No shine at all. Also if you happen to scratch your skin during the first hour or so, your color will be absent on the scratch areas. It also washes off in 2 days just using a shower type soap. I bought this in the winter because we were going to Florida then I got sick and didn't go so I did not use it till spring and I can't even send it back.
