Hello everyone!! Love this forum!!

I just bought the St. Tropez TSV and would like to try it out this weekend BUT I really want to try to do the Best job possible. My main concern is how to apply it on my back evenly.

I watched the St. Tropez videos that explain how to turn the mitten around your hand and apply to your back but I am concerned... Will this ensure even application??

How do you guys do it? Do you use another tool?

They sell wand-like applicators (like a back brush with a pad) at places like Bed, Bath & Beyond

I tried one of those tools and it left me streaky. I just buy a tanner that comes in a spray can (L'Oreal) and spray it on. I shower, dry off, get back in the tub and spray my back.

Slip the mitt over a long-handled bath brush, or back scratcher. Or, dampen an old washcloth, wrap & secure it over the head of the long-handled brush, then apply with that. Use an old cloth because the faux tanner will stain it. Works just fine for me, & on backs of thighs, too.

I use tan towels as far as I can reach, and then use a spray formula to fill in. It's mainly a matter of holding the spray can far enough away from your skin to get a nice mist. Hold it too close and you look like you've been graffitied!

Or I hijack my husband and force him to paint me.
