My eyes have very few wrinkles but under my brows there is puffiness. I haven't found a cream or serum that really reduces this but when I do my eye make up I never use a pearl or white shadow highlight on my brow bone which is what most MUAs recommend. I use a soft pinkish putty or soft taupe shade that is matte and blend it with my lid shadow (usually a taupe or plum). This looks so much better and makes the puffiness recede. I rarely see this discussed but I know I'm not the only one out there with a puffy upper lid!

Hi Virgosun,
My friend uses cold cucumber slices over her entire eye for puffiness. She claims it is great.

I've heard of this too but know I'll never do it on a regular basis!

Save your cucumbers for a salad and head on over to your trusted Plastic Surgeon. It's the only sure thing to cure your fatty puffy upper eyes. It's a procedure that's done in the office and takes about 1 hour. It's the least expensive of most plastic surgeries. You go home, put a frozen bag of peas on your upper eyes and in a few days you'll look good.

Have you ever tried Preparation H? It is used for puffiness around the eyes -- just don't get in eyes. It is known for taking down swelling.

katCat....I was told that the ingredients in Preparation H have changed so this effect is no longer true. I don't know this first hand....

Sleep with your head elevated and change your pillows. If you haven't already. I get puffy eyelids the next morning if I sleep with just one flat pillow.
I do the brow highlight trick too and it works great! Great tip.

I heard that but the product in the US does not have the ingredient that is supposedly used to take down swelling. Canadian drugstores sell it with the ingredient.

This is a very good tip, and good colors. You don't have the puffiness directly on your brow bone, but right under that, is that correct?
If you still needed an illusion of lifted eyes, you could use a highlighting pen (like Touche Eclat) above the brows.
It's the old concept of light brings forward/dark recedes. So, yes, you wouldn't want to bring any puffiness forward.
That is how I feel about blush. The shadow of the blush, if placed directly on the cheeks, will make the cheeks look less prominent and will erase the hollows. I like the chiseled look of placing my blush in the hollows because I want the hollow to look even more, but softly, hollow.
