Happy May and Happy Spring Everyone!

Desi -- Tried to find the new thread earlier so I waited and found it. Kind of a nice day; rain ended early this morning and then the sun came out but still have a cold wind. Calling for some showers into the weekend too. Sunday is supposed to be the better day.

My DH doesn't notice fragrance at all -- he's the same about eating things past their prime too! I think he has an iron stomach. If it smells a little off, out it goes. He said I would put a 2 X 4 in the refrig. if I could.

Let us know the final verdict on the Sofia fragrance.

Fashion Day starts May 3 but never too exciting!

pepes mom - Yes, the Skechers are amazingly light -- glad I finally tried them.

Sorry about your problems with your injections -- could not have been a pleasant experience. Hope you're feeling better.

Hello and Happy May. Its a whopping 55 degrees with a cool breeze. Give me another 10 degrees and sun and I'll be happy.

My navy Skechers arrived in the mail today. My feet just love them.

I'm sore but still kicking. No change in pain/tingling from the injections. Oh well.

Hi Janet and Pepe's mom. Janet, despite being reminded by Pepe's mom, didn't remember about the new thread until after I went to bed - when my brain gets in gear so I can lay awake for hours, lol! So, it wasn't you not finding, hanging head, I got it up late.

Glad those Sketchers work so well - how does the arch compare with Travel Time?

Pepe's mom, glad you are still kicking even though the shot was useless. As are many medical people. My doc.'s office called. The hold-up was that I wanted the brand name and the ins. co. insists I try the generic version. I said I did and I have the bottle, I can read you the PA that prescribed it and the date! Why don't they know what they are doing, this is insane. So, still waiting and they didn't call back today.

May isn't starting great. I have a new floater and my retina guy isn't there this week. The only appt. tomorrow is with someone else at 7:45 AM and it's a half an hr. drive. I hate always feeling like I may lose my vision and I am paranoid about any new changes. However, this is what I am supposed to do, come in when they occur. You'd think there would be more Doc's who could see you immediately which they always say, but it obviously isn't true - they had nothing today. So, if I don't post tomorrow it's because I have gotten about an hour's sleep and then dilated eyes which makes typing almost impossible. I'll get on as soon as I can see. Wish me luck that nothing bad is going on, thanks.

Not sure on the Sofia, but now I will link it with this and it won't be a happy thing so maybe it will go back. I will say it's interesting and keeps changing more than any scent I can remember. After showering the woody dry-down became a clean soapy scent that I liked. If she could come out with Sofia Summer and just have the top fruity notes, vanilla, and the clean dry-down it would be lovely!

So, how are you liking the Sophia? Doesn't sound like you love it and speaking of scents, I was talking to a lady(maybe early 40's) at customer service at BJ's and asked what scent she was wearing, smelled very nice on her. She said it was Brittany Spears Fantasy. I don't know but for some reason it reminded me of an older scent, sweet scent but very familiar. Are you familiar with this one? I never tried it or heard of it but it did smell very nice on her not that that means it would on me.

Janet, oh boy yes, love the light weight of the Skechers plus I love the arch support which is hard to believe with the weight of the sneakers, feel like air when you go to pick them up and when on and walking they are so light which I love, hate walking in a heavy shoe plus very nicely cushioned. I wore them last summer to walk the boardwalk and had them on for over 12 hours, love them.

pepesmom, see, told you you would love the Skechers. I bet you were surprised at how light they were when you first took them out of the box, know I was but that was just the beginning of getting a lot more of them, lol. I want to pick up a grey pair yet to wear with black, have 2 in white, 2 in navy, 2 in the brown suede and 1 in the black suede. The suede ones I wear for winter. The fit and feel plus comfort can't be beat. Bet you will enjoy walking in them. Boy, sure hope they can do something to ease the back pain, something that really helps for a longer period of time. They do run a bit wider than other shoes for some reason but are super comfy.

Will return Sofia most likely. Not in the frame of mind to decide. Might be something you'd like.

I think Brittany's and JLo's scents are under-rated. Not sure if I smelled that one but probably have. They all smell good to me.

I am sending you a picture of the coffee maker they have at the car dealer. I tried to put the picture here but can't for some reason. Maybe you can, if so, do so. It is called Flavia and has 6 buttons on the front panel and you push whichever you want to drink than the door opens and you put in the little pouch (a tad smaller than a family size tea bag) with that little button thing on the top. You put it in a slot while the tiny button things is exposed. You close the door and it does the rest, shows progress than when finished says to be very careful it is very hot, really really is. This model is probably a commercial but do see they make home versions but no idea how they are but do know this one makes excellent coffee. I just typed Flavia coffee maker in my seach engine.

If the Sophia has too much fruity scent to it I wouldn't like it. I am not into anything foodie which is odd because there are a few I do like, a very few but are some but prefer a soft floral, soft musk or something floral or musk with vanilla. The Patti LaBelle signature Woman is like that, only 2 scents in that and is very pleasant, really like it but doesn't have the staying power of ET white diamonds.

Speaking of staying power, boy, the IT lip/cheek stain sticks really really do last. I put one on yesterday at 3 PM and washed all my makeup off this morning when I went to bed at 10 AM and the IT lip stain was still there and still there when I got up even though I did wash thoroughly. It says it is anti aging and it is very moisturizing. I haven't used anything else on my lips since getting this a couple weeks ago so, this will be a repurchase for sure but think I like the one with color in better which is odd being the one with no color showing is actually darker on me where some say it has no color at all, not for me, is darker so, while I like both, next order will be 2 of the same color since it comes in a duo.

Flavia sounds good, wonder how much the cups or whatever cost.

I looked on-line, don't see the sale, maybe it's only in stores.

Desi, from what it says it gives the web ID number so from that think it is also on sale online? I didn't know J Lo had so many scents.

I copied and pasted from the thread I posted. I think I tried one called Miami something from PSS long ago, didn't like that at all. I looked at the variety pack but don't think I would like them or most of them anyway so, any suggestions? I really didn't know she had so many scents.

Besides their already deep discounts you also get another 20% off, very good deal there and the real thing.

Still Jennifer Lopez is the only one that says white or mostly florals but could be too strong? I like muck and vanilla but not into fruity or foodie scents and most woody ones.
