Scared! Cervical spine mri

I had a MRI of my cervical spine because of neck pain, not expecting this. Severely stenosed central canal - moderate compression of the cord. I don't want surgery. Has anyone have this? I already deal with my back and have disc problems with sciatica. I get epidural steroids for that.
