I posted about the SkinAqua spf 50, and although I like it alot...the past couple of days after washing at night, I noticed some of my pores looked black.  The only other new product I just started is Paula's Choice bha toner, and that's supposed to help clear pores.  So im going to stop the Spf and just use the PC and see what happens.

Never has this happened to my skin, so im really bummed about this.  Thankfully I'm able to get my pores cleared after washing and some squeezing the blocked ones.  Today I'm staying in with family for Easter, so im not applying any sunscreen,  just my usual make up routine...will continue that for a couple of days and see how it goes.  If I continue to see black pores, then it's the PC toner. 🤔

My opinion only but I am very fair skinned. I live in Florida for most of my life.

I am very sensitive to many products and any suncscreen products are not my friend.

And so I do not use them at all.  I mostly stay out of the sun and when on holiday wear a hat.  Javit's I think is  the name of the hat.

My lancome powder/foundation has some SPF in it I think but that's about it.

For those who are fair and rosacea prone, red easily I would not use sunscreen as it always aggravated my skin.  Stay out of it or use sun hats.  It's simple and it works.

Ps, Growing up in South Florida I realized how wrinkled women became in their face, decollette, etc.  I was 26 and got out entirely.

@Pink123 I am very fair and break out and sting like crazy with some sunscreens, especially anything with Avobenzone in it. So I most often use mineral sunscreens.

Shiseido makes great one, and some of Paula's Choice ones fit the bill.

Re: SPF for face

[ Edited ]

Hi @Sooner  Yes I know.  My fair skin cannot tolerate even  the easiest of Sunscreen prodcucts and nevel will.

I have tried and always breakout. No more on that first off.

I  am better with a sun hat or out of the sun entirely.

I just got the "cool peel cO2 laser"  It was a 3 day sunburn for me but again I'm fair.  Lasers d o like fair skin people. One thing in our favor. lol.

It's now 8 days and I see after first treatment for some reason my skin has lost alot of redness.  I was very surprsied. I'm so  excited and happy about this.

I'm seeing him tomorrow for a short visit.

I will do 2 or 3  more a month apart. I had a big brown old spot on side of head  and it' mostly gone. Of course he wanted to leave a little more so I will continue.  of course lol. duh.

@SilleeMee you're welcome! I have a tendency to want to try lots of Asian sunscreens and have enjoyed quite a few but none perform quite like this one, so I keep coming back to it. I hope it will always be available and that they don't change the formula! 🤞
