No Isomers is not cruelty free. They sell in China and the Chinese require all imported cosmetics be tested on animals. What bothered me most about Isomers is how in my email correspondence with them, they were very adamant that they absolutely do not test on animals and are totally against it but then casually say that a China shopping channel is a distributor of their products. I am sure Isomers does not test themselves. It is probably done in China. Either way they know their products, are being tested on animals. I hate it because I love their vitamin c stem serum and retiniacin. There is,a lot more information on my thread titled "Does Isomers do animal testing" if you are interested. Hope you are having a wonderful evening from one Michelle to anotherSmiley Happy

Wow...Seriously?! I really did assume that they are cruelty free. Nothing like giving you double messages and false info. That is just so wrong. I am addicted to the Vitamin C serum, so now I guess I will be looking elsewhere.

I am going to check out your thread. I give you a lot of credit for contacting the company. Unfortunately, they were not forthcoming with their info. That is unacceptable.

Thanks for letting me know about this....

Hope you are having a wonderful evening too!!

Check out the Isomers thread further down the page. Apparently, China stopped mandating animal testing in 2012. They exempt companies who somehow prove their own safety and integrity (I'm not sure what that means). Anyway, according to the Isomers rep, you can no longer assume a company's products are tested on animals just because they are sold in China. That would also be the case for Skinn. If you are really concerned about it, I would say that you need to do more research than getting info on this board. China is in the process of reviewing their laws about animal testing and may, in fact, stop it, especially as the global awareness of the issue grows.
