After watching Demitri all weekend, I decided I want to try his line. However, he has so many products and kits, I am not sure what to order. I am 59 years old, few wrinkles, but losing firmness. Any suggestions?

I have very dry skin so I use his Collagensis line. For moisturizer, I use 24-Hour Youth Preservation cream. Other ladies of this board have experience of his other products on this line.

Let me begin by saying I am not a total devotee to Skinn. I'm only applying common sense beauty wisdom that you should start with the day/night cleansers the ones called Olive Enzyme and Sulfate Free; then moisturize with his Collagenesis 24-hour moisturizer. That's how I would start... with core basics before getting into all of those additional serums and creams. That said, if you buy one of his kits there probably is one which would have at least the two cleansers in it plus some other items. I have never seen Dimitri sell the cleansers separately as he refers to pairing them as your day/night cleansers non-negotiable.

I'm sure Skinn users will have many more suggestions for you.

I agree with what Trix said. I am using stuff from several lines that works for me.

Moisturizer = 24-Hour Youth Preservation Cream by Skinn

Shadow/base = Cream Shadow by Bobbi Brown

Moisturizing Serum = HydroShield Face Serum by Dr. Denese

Shower Cream = Korres of HSN

Shampoo/Conditioner = store bought

Yes, I forgot about him having TTV very often. summer sun, if you can, wait until his next TTV. Very likely, you'll find something you "need" whether or not you'll actually need it. lol

I would suggest you start with the "non-negotiables", which include the AM/PM Cleansers and Skin Softening Essence. In addition, I can recommend the Collagenesis serum and 24-hour Youth Preservation Cream.

sunshine, I'd recommend the Collagenesis Stem Rejen facial and eye serums, and the 24 Hour cream. That Stem Rejen facial serum is the one he says is for firming -- that's that HUH? picture of the woman with the weight in her face. I think I finally got the gist of it the last time I saw it (for about the 100th time).

Some here have said they think the Stem Rejen Eye has lifted and firmed their upper lids and undereye area. I haven't seen the lifting, I don't think, but it has certainly smoothed out the crepey stuff and seemed to tighten it somewhat.

The serums aren't watery or gel like, which is how I usually think of serums, but rather like a thin lotion -- but easily and quickly absorbed.

The 24 Hour cream is pretty dense and I at first thought no way would I smear that Crisco like stuff all over my face. I started around the eyes, then tried it sparingly over the rest of my face, then with wild abandon! :-). I didn't realize how dry I must have been -- or if not dry, how much moisture evaporated during the night or day. This seems to lock it in.

I like the day cleanser a LOT, so-so about the evening cleanser, but I use it sometimes.

I'm 61 and the only wrinkles I have are my deep expression lines and where my fat has disappeared, little sag lines. No actual "wrinkles". These products just really did SOMETHING for my skin. Freshened it up? MAYBE firmed it? Plumper looking? Not sure, but I do know I am really loyal to these now and won't be without them. If I try something new, I incorporate it into my Skin Stem Rejen regimen.

If you don't have wrinkles around your lips, you probably don't need the Lip product -- the 24 hour cream would probably work just fine.

Shop HQ has free shipping on any beauty purchase of $75 or more through July 31 with the Shop HQ credit card. We'll be able to use that for Dimitri's visit in July.
