Re: SKINN - What happened???

Congratulations to all of you new to Skinn, I've been using it for a little over a year, I started with the Collegenisis line and have added since then, I'm now into at least 1 backup of every product because Dimitri is just that good, but the products do work. Here is my best advise to you newbies, give it a good month to 2 months before you decide if Skinn is for you. My skin is off the charts, its firm, its beyond soft, breakouts rarely happen and wrinkles are down to a minimum. Others who have responded are right, you don't need as much as Dimitri demos with, a little goes a long way with his products.

Some of my favorites; cleansers - nothing compares, Skinn Essense - seemed silly at first but everything lays down do much better when I use it first. The whole stem rejen system (I didn't get the new one cause I have dups of the original system). Lip 6X serum I apply everynight when I go to bed, it stays on all night my lips are crazy soft and plump in the morning. Chin up is great (gotta do it twice a day), I have the one for double chin. LOVE the C powder, I mix it it with the serums and its great! Love love love instafill for eyes and lips and his mascara compares well to Tarte's gifted and also IT Cosmetics gives good length, good staying power and doesn't clump or drop off during the day.

P.S. I'm 46 and my skin has never been better.

- Thank you for the info & recommendations! I can't wait to integrate my ordered SKINN products to my current routine.

I've been on the fence about trying the cleansers (or at least the AM as I rarely wear cosmetics that would need removal). I'm currently using PC Resist cleanser, but as with all of her products, there's no way to tell how much product is left in the containers...or maybe this is intentional so you buy more before you have any idea if you're running out?

I like his a.m. cleanser, but don't care for his p.m. olive oil stuff. It doesn't seem to rinse ALL off, and I don't want to have to wipe it off with a cloth. At night to remove makeup and/or sunscreen, I use Tatacha (if I've got it really piled on) or Purity works well, too. I've recently tried -- and really liked -- Cybermed 5.5 pH cleanser. I like both the olive oil and gel stuff, although both are heavily fragranced. They all make my skin feel CLEAN but leave it really soft and not drawn and dry. Dimitri's olive oil stuff leaves my skin soft, but not really clean.

Re: SKINN - What happened???

Well, I'm glad he was offering the 24 Hour Youth Cream in the first TTV. I was just about to purchase a jar on ebay and so glad I didn't. The kits are reasonably priced and you get so much in each one. I have to say, I did get 2 other kits. I got the 12 piece kit with the bonus sizes and I got the OTO with the 4oz Hand Restore and 4oz Body Balm. I'm anxious to try these products. I love the 24 hour cream, and especially for wintertime! Lately, I've been mixing 3 or 4 drops of Argan oil with it at night time. Very emollient, as I get really dry especially in the winter. I know I will be able to pass up kits when he is back in October. I am stocked now till next year!

Is that the "Sebamed" cleanser you had mentioned? Between the Sebamed and the SKINN AM which do you prefer and why?

I can relate to what you're saying about the olive oil cleanser. I felt that way about the Camellia Oil cleanser (Dr. Young, not Tatcha) I tried.

Thats the best part, you know exactly where you are and how much you have left. Use the AM/PM cleansers regardless of makeup usage, AM cleanser wakes you and your skin up, and gets it ready for the day, PM cleanses gently and calms while it preps you for nighttime serums/creams. Trust me you'll see after a couple of weeks...

Re: SKINN - What happened???

I didn't buy product last weekend because I have plenty, but I am a big fan of his Crème Reverse line.

Thank you for that info, jam! I appreciate it. I did have to laugh a wee bit, though. Whenever I hear "trust me", I don't. {#emotions_dlg.blush}

Re: SKINN - What happened???

F1Wild you should give us an update once you've starting using the products, I'd enjoy hearing what you liked and didn't like from your purchases. Enjoy!
