I feel sad when I see women pressured to such lengths. I did see her last nit end wld not buy her products mainly because she does not have a background in beauty that I know of. There are so many reputable companies I would rather save my money to buy from. She did seem nervous and unsure of herself and a bit confused.

Yep. It's disturbing to read the vitriol and venom toward a person none here really know.

I don't care whether a person is famous or not, if that person is selling ANTI-AGING products, then that presenters face should not be frozen by Botox or fillers. It's like saying "look, it does such a great job, but I still need plastic surgery". Personally, I think that's what makes people look older. I mean a 20 year old can move her face.

Which way do you think it works? Does someone with a name (like McGraw or the Kardashians or Ellen, etc.) go to the companies and ask them to develop a product for them or do the companies develop a product and go after the names?

I have some feelings that it happens both ways, but not a sense of whether one is more common than the other.

I think its both ways too, but companies have lost money this year on celeb fragrances. People aren't buying them like they used to. Elizabeth Arden co. Reported a loss this year and cited decreased sales in celeb fragrances. I think the celeb wants to become a brand like Oprah and Martha Stewart. They seem to forget it takes years to be an icon.

I believe Robin said she is 60. If I look that good when I'm 60, I will be thrilled. Yes, she has had surgery obviously but so have a lot of other folks. I don't watch Dr. Phil and have no strong feelings one way or another about the McGraws, but, wow, are people mean on this thread.

If I heard correctly last night, she or the host said $2 per bottle was going to HSN Cares and then proceeds of something else was going to her foundation.

According to hsn s site, one dollar from hsn and one dollar from McGraw will go to the foundation.

I taped the sun show to check her out. OMG,she can't pronounce the letter B...so much filler and her eyebrows haven't moved once. Why?? Why do that? But she is the weirdest woman on air...she just says the oddest things,points,says fabulous constantly,and is so FAKE sounding. She is making sounds like she is having an "intimate moment" ...its creepy!!She is selling skincare but her skin is the result of extensive plastic surgery.
