The Buff was too yellow for me. I got Nude and Ivory. I always seem to fall between shades. I put the Ivory on and it looks good, of coarse I'll have to try again in the morning in the morning sun. I didn't have to blend at the neck line. I'm going to try one half face of each color. The Nude is dry to normal and the Ivory is combo to oily. It was strange that nude was 2 different colors in the different formulas.

I've recently stopped self-tanning, so I'm using my natural shade of Ivory right now. I don't notice any yellow in it at all. I have really pinky undertones to my skin, and the Ivory does a great job of neutralizing them.

No yellow in the Ivory. It makes my skin-tone look like it did when I was a child, before all of the sunburns. It does a good job at hiding all the blotchy skin and broken capillaries. Not too bad on the age spots either.

Agreed! I should have mentioned that I also have mild rosacea and melasma, and both are fairly well concealed with the Colorstay!

Re: Revlon Colorstay Foundation

I got the whipped variety of this foundation and I'm loving it on my oily skin. However, I do find all of the shades in my end of the shade spectrum to be rather yellow-based. The lightest shade (110?) was too light. The buff (150) sort of works but it's a tad yellow and light. I add my Ready to Wear pressed powder on top (which adds a touch of color) so that my face matches my chest. I just bought the 200 Sand Beige and while it's a tad cooler-toned, it's also too dark for me.

I guess I'll mix some of the 150 in with the 200 to, hopefully, make a shade that works perfectly for me.

It's never easy, is it??

Thank you all! I'm going to RiteAid as soon as I wake up from my nap. I went on the Findnation site and put in some foundation colors that worked for me, except that I didn't like the formulation and it didn't give me any color recommendation for the Colorstay, but it did give me on for another Revlon foundation. Maybe I can color match from that color?

Thanks again!

I went to Sephora at JC Penney today and got color IQ'ed. I'm wearing Boscia bb cream in light. Love the color on me! I wanted to try the Supergoop, but the one at Penney's doesn't have it.

I used the Boscia in light, too...and 220 in the Colorstay is also a great match for me.

The nude and the 220 were almost the same.

Re: Revlon Colorstay Foundation

I think I am going with the Ivory. It seems to wipe out the redness and capillaries the best. I could easily go with either. I am going to exchange it for the normal skin, the one for oily skin actually felt oilier.

Has anyone use this with BB cream as a primer?

Thanks for all the suggestions.

After experimenting with the Colorstay and different primers, I actually believe it looks better with no primer (shocking, I know), lol! My Elta MD 41 tinted sunscreen acts as a semi-primer anyway.
