Review of a few Mary Kay products

I decided to revisit this beauty line. So I ordered some things. FWIW, here are my opinions:

Creme blush in a tube: got the light pink. Goes on sheer. Looks natural and pretty. Stays on.

Semi shine lipstick: ordered a light coral color. Turns a bit too orangey on me. Maybe it just me, or I picked the wrong color. Sample was included of a beautiful red, and that one I really liked. I think it's called rockstar red.

Eye depuffer gel: oh man I need a vat of this. It works!

Sample of Timewise facial peel: my skin felt so smooth afterwards. It smells good. Feels like a luxury product. Will purchase a full size item.

Re: Review of a few Mary Kay products

I tried a couple of products at a Mary Kay home party.  Have no idea how many years ago that was.  Can't imagine how they have lasted.  Products were really bad.  They must have improved some.   Hope you enjoy.

Re: Review of a few Mary Kay products

my sister and sister in law both recently re-discovered this line and they love it!! My sister in law is using their skincare and makeup exclusively and her skin looks phenomenal!

My sister just started with the skincare line and the foundation and loves it as well, she was previously using Elizabeth Arden.

Re: Review of a few Mary Kay products

Many, many, many years ago, DD had a friend who started selling Mary Kay.  I didn't want any skin care or make up, but wanted to support DD's friend, so I bought several bottles of nail polish.  I LOVED them.  The colors were beautiful and they were long wearing.  But then, DD's friend moved away, and then we moved, and that was the end of MK for me.

This thread reminded me of MK.  Thanks for posting!

Re: Review of a few Mary Kay products

I loved the original skin care that was cleanse, tone, moisturizer and I believe a scrub/mask.  I tried Timewise and it is just not the same and my skin doesn't like it.

But I still like the satin hands and satin lips and they always had the best nail polish.  Lots of things that are worth trying.
