Okay I did a new thread for this review as I am thinking if someone did a search this would be the easiest way for them to get the info.

I used this product this morning....and it WORKED! the black hair is gone....this product worked fast on me....they recommend 20mins but I saw a change in just 12mins and jumped in the shower and rinsed for 5mins then shampoo and then rinse another 10mins...shampoo a second time per their instructions....rinse another 5mins. The long rinsing is essential they say to removing the dark hair dye molecules that were shrunk during the processing time.

I have no damage to my hair from using it...unlike bleach would have done. I simply deep conditioned it and will continue to do that for the next weeks ahead.

So what am I left with? well this product removes dark dye only but my hair has been heavily highlighted and covered up several times over with brown dye....and this last time she must have used even a darker level than a 5 which is exactly mid range on the charts (go from 1/black to 10/white) when I was at sally's last week we matched my dark hair up to a level 2N-darkest brown....remember 1N is black so it was extremely harsh and dark....my sons thought it was so ugly on me...oh well it's not like I did this in my bathroom or something....I stupidly paid for this mess.

Anyway, it was a easy way to remove dark dye and it really does work...there is no bleach or amonia it is sulfur based products. My hair is a even mix if brown/level 5 and some golden blond with some brassy color mixed thur....that is from my highlights and I knew to expect that...many reviews mentioned if you highlighted it would reveal them if they had been covered up by dying over them which mine had been.

I styled my hair.....and it is so much better than Elvis black on me....it's not what I was going for but I can manage w/o a HAT and the most I am going to do is perhaps use one of those purple shampoos at Sally's to tone it down some.

Then I will go on a hunt for a different salon/stylist....as in 6wks I'll have gray hair to cover and the hair coloring issue will be here again. If I didn't have gray hair I tell you ladies I wouldn't bother with coloring it.....so expensive. Remember I am someone who doesn't do any coloring to my hair at home....I read alot and try to educate myself to understand it but I am a BIG chicken in this area....so doing the Color Oops was really stepping outside the box!LOL

Anyway if anyone has a question about this product or using it let me know....Oh it doesn't stink like the reviews say....honest...it was really really mild in the odor....a perm is FAR stronger...and it didn't bother my scalp at all either.

I hope the insensitive folks around here don't bother attacking me on my "third" thread....I remind you this is a beauty forum and reviewing products and such is common....I did it this way so the product could have a review posted here to help someone in the future that may end up in my shoes.

Thanks to all the ladies that were kind....I have read all posts with your ideas and suggestions....Color Oops was suggested and after much research this weekend I decided it was the right choice for me.

God Bless and have a great day!
