Re: Retinol - Dr. Gross v.s. Phillip Thomas Roth?

I've found a great retinol made by Protege on Amazon. Really great results, US made, cruelty free and affordable! Love their customer service (family run) as well Smiley Happy

I really like Dr. Denese Firmatone Retinolmax Serum.  Per Dr. Denese, It has somewhere between .5-1% of retinol and is strong enough for my skin.  I use it at night 2-3 times per week.  It if use it every night, my skin peels around my mouth and chin.  I have not tried retinol from Dr. Gross or PTR.

I also used PTR a few bottles, didn't see any improvement. Dr. Gross doesn't state percentage of retinol, so I won't buy that either. I have SkinMedica, and that does work! I'm now using Retriderm from Biopelle...just started it, so can't say I see anything.

I didn't think the PTR retinol fusion did a stich of anything. He can brag all he wants about 2.5% of retinol, but with all the other things in there, it does not act like even .15%, which is what I use -- Alpha Hydrox Retinol ResQ.

I agree that Dr. Gross should reveal what percentage of retinol he uses. When he puts retinol in his jar moisturizer, well....that's all I need to know, too.
