I have been using retin-a for a couple of weeks. Previously, I was using Dr Denese retinol. I thought my skin was looking great, but when I went for a dermatology appt I asked about the retin-a, and the doc thought I should try it. This was after her telling me she thought I looked great, but she said, why not go further? Maybe my skin was already conditioned some because I didn't notice the sensitivity and dryness until just now. I hate the way I look. How long will this last? At this point, I'm wondering why I messed up my skin. If it will be worth it in a couple more weeks, ok. There really isn't much advantage to using retin-a, other than it's probably more cost effective than the retinol routine, but to be honest, I miss that skincare routine. Why couldn't I just be satisfied?????
