Remember when we used to get a nice little Christmas surprise gift from philosophy for being a top reviewer? Does any one still get one? Mine were kind of off and on through the years even though they always had me listed as a top reviewer. But I haven't seen anyone else mention it this year at all, so I'm wondering if they still do it. Or is that another nice thing from philosophy that has disappeared (along with some of my favorite products) ?

Hi Joyce. I don't know what they are doing. But I was wondering if Philosophy even takes reviews anymore because over the past 6 months or so I've posted some on their website and they were never posted. I hope you have a Merry Christmas.

I have not seen any reviews on the website either. They have offered some very nice gifts with purchase though, and also 30% off the last several days.

I was also wondering what happened with their review system online .. They seem to have stopped posting reviews over the past few months. I had created a number of reviews but only a few were posted. The ones they did not post were not even bad reviews either, they were good reviews, so who knows what happened? ...... You know, I always felt bad because over the past few years, because they would send me gifts of skincare items to try, but they were always products that had very strong active ingredients (retinol, glycolic and other acids) that I can't use without looking like I was caught in a fire!! (My past reviews clearly reflected how sensitive my face is so I am not sure why they chose to keep sending them my way LOL!) ........ So I was usually too scared to use some of the free skincare gifts and didn't review them. I did make the point to call and say thank you anyways but still felt bad I could not try and review the thoughtful gifts! ..... Funny thing is that I have always loved and reviewed the holiday shower gels and lotions, but they rarely sent those for me to review. So I am not sure how they worked the review system as it didn't seem to represent my usage ...... Again though, I was always truly touched by their generosity and always appreciated such a kind gesture to recognize reviewers in this way!

I never received a surprise gift during the holidays, but for several years I did receive new products to try and review in the early summer months. That didn't happen this year though. I also wrote two reviews about a month ago, but only one was posted. I'm shown as a top 50 reviewer and I've never had them not post one of my reviews so I was puzzled and wondering what I could have said that was against their rules, but after seeing this thread I know now it's not just me. Yes, I've been a Philosophy girl from the beginning and I do remember when...
