I was a teenager in the 70s (married in 77 at 20).  I wore the blue and yellow colors.  Ah, blue e/s, bellbottoms and hotpants!

@monicakm I remember them. I tried frosted shadow once and hated it. I wore the matte shadows but I love the colors.

I have been seeing some of these bright colors showing up again recently.

YES!  I love the blues; as a matter of fact I have one of those glorious blues from MAC.

Re: Remember These Eyeshadows?

I remember blue eye shadow, but I never wore it. I never wore pink eye shadow either.  Those two colors always looked awful to me and no shimmering make-up either.

I did wear bell bottoms and hot pants with midriff tops.

Re: Remember These Eyeshadows?

These remind me of a lady at my first real job in the late 60's.  She was a receptionist at the office building where I worked.  Every day, she wore bright eye shadow -- and lots of it! -- to match her blouse or sweater.  Orange sweater = orange eye shadow up to her eyebrows.  Green sweater = green eye shadow.  Etc.

Because of her and the way those bright eye shadows made her look, I have always wore neutral beige or tan eye shadows.
