CeraVe® Hydrating Cleanser provides gentle, effective cleansing while it restores and enhances the skin barrier.
Purified Water, Glycerin, Behentrimonium Methosulfate and Cetearyl Alcohol, Ceramide 3, Ceramide 6-II, Ceramide 1, Hyaluronic Acid, Cholesterol, Polyoxyl 40 Stearate, Glyceryl Monostearate, Stearyl Alcohol, Polysorbate 20, Potassium Phosphate, Dipotassium Phosphate, Sodium Lauroyl Lactylate, Cetyl Alcohol, Disodium EDTA, Phytosphingosine, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Carbomer, Xanthan GumI'm not sure what in there you would have a bad reaction to. Do you?Hi, and how sweet you are to take the time to post the ingredients, but, I have tried this and also had the same red bumps, lol! I honestly can't figure it out. I do use Emu oil for a moisturizer, the best for dry skin. And I use Albolene to remove makeup before I cleanse. I know many won't like to hear this, but plain old Cetaphil is the best for me! Even though it dries me out a bit, I always have to go back to it. It appears that I'm better off with the fewest ingredients possible. Thanks for your help!
Why not just stop after the Albolene? If you're experiencing dryness and trouble, just finish with that? It does more than remove makeup, so you're basically washing your face twice and the second time you're drying your skin out. You don't need another cleanser after the Albolene.
I only use a balm, some days it's Albolene and some days it's a Boots balm. Either day, that's all I use and then I put my treatments on afterward.
Yes, I do this often during the winter, but it's been much warmer lately and those hot flashes are coming more often, lol. So because Albolene does leave a film because of the wax, I don't feel clean, even with more than several wipes with a wet washcloth. Ponds is so much lighter, but it has fragrance. Is the Boot's Balm not as heavy? TIA
