@ icegoddess
I was wrong. The L'Oreal Infallible in the jar is the Nars soft super. The L'Oreal Infallible Pro Glow is a Guerlain Lingerie de peau dupe.

I also gave my friend Neutrogena tinted moisturizer to try in #20 and she loves it as well. It's just the sheer coverage she wanted and it does look nice on her. I told her to keep it. I like a medium to full coverage. She has never talked makeup with me so I'm like, thrilled lol.
I've been wanting to forever talk beauty with her but didn't know how to approach it. So now I'm like her big sister talking what makeup she might try lol.

The Neutrogena you use is a different tube than I had. I had 2; mine are tinted moisturizer, not skin perfector. Is yours mostly skin care with spf and with only a tint added? It's sheer coverage? I'm asking because my friend likes sheer coverage and your's contains retinol. Her one complaint to me is emerging visible lines and wrinkles. She may like the product you have. Thanks

@Midmod  Yes, it's more of a sheer coverage. It seems to even out my skin tone too. Could be the retinol working it's magic. I don't use it everyday because right now I'm obsessed with RMS Beauty, but this Neuttogena is my go-to. I always have it in my makeup bag. They do have tinted moisturizers but this is different.  It's more like skin care with coverage. I think your friend would really like it. When it first came out, it won all the Allure beauty awards.  It's a good one.  Especially for one who is a little makeup shy. I feel like it lets my skin breath.

I looked at the LG website and is it the liquid Double Take that you use?  I noticed that there is also a powder Double Take.  I have quite a few other LG products which I generally liike.  Thank you!

Yes that is the liquid foundation I have been using. I'm not interested in the powder. At 75 years old with dry normal skin I find powder aging. I moisturize first, let it set a few minutes and then carefully apply a light layer of foundation. This is buildable if necessary. If I ever need a touch of powder in summer time  I use Bye Bye Pores IT cosmetics.

I have always enjoyed Laura Geller but never thought I would use her foundations . Years ago I tried her Balance n Brighten powder which is popular but I hated it. Also tried a few other liquid foundations but sent them back, poor color match for me. Probably wouldn't have tried this but her website deal encouraged me to give it a shot. This time it worked. Good luck in your search.

I can't remember. I'll have to search that info. Nars soft something maybe? I'm not familiar with Nars.
I've been dying to try that Hourglass finishing powder but I haven't pulled the trigger yet. If you find a great deal on it, please post ❤️

I'll try to search that info for you.

@Midmod , l got the mini, so that helps on price.  I know overall the price of the minis are not a deal when you look at price per oz, but I only wear makeup once a week so a mini will last me a loooong time.

@Midmod, I don't see a Super Soft.  I see a Soft Matte.  I don't care for matte nor a foundation in a jar.  I've never uses a Guerlain product.  Might try that infallible just to see what it's like, just for the fun of it since it's not as expensive.

That was nice of you to give the makeup to your friend.  As soon as I am able to get out of the house (snow) I will look this makeup up!  Thanks!

I'm glad that you found one that works for you.  I noticed you said that this one has Retinol, which I cannot use.  Thanks!

Thank you for answering my question.  I think I am going to try the LG liquid.  I have the B&B and have used it for a number of years.  While I like it in some ways, and I use it because it is easy and quick, I am still looking for something better for me.
