Recommendations for red lipstick please!

I know that there was a recent discussion about red lipstick, but don't think my question was covered. Does anyone have a recommendation for a red lipstick for someone with a fair to light complexion? I wear Fairly Light in BE, and Light in Tarte & most foundations. My top lip is a little on the thin side, and my age is "up there" (don't know if that matters or not)! I get confused by the Red/yellow versus blue/red differences, so maybe someone could explain that as well!

I really like the look of red lipstick on others, but have trouble finding one that looks good on me. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!
