Recommendations for a Particular Nail Color

I would like to have a very, very pale, shell pink pearl nail color.  I don't want any sparkly flakes in it but I do want it to be very frosted and pearly looking and I want it to be very, very pale pink -- sort of like the color of the inside of a beautiful shell found on a beach!  Many years ago when I was a young girl -- probably only like 12 or 13, I had a bottle of polish that my mother got me from Avon and I used it until it was totally gone.  I have no idea what the name of it was and, of course, I'm sure that doesn't exist any more.

I have been scouring stores and on-line (the colors are hard to tell) and so far, not finding what I am thinking off.  Most are either too sparkly, the pink is too dark, or the pink is a creme, which I don't want.

Any recommendatiions?  Thank you so much.

[ Edited ]

Sally Hansen®  (drug/grocery stores) has many shades in that category...The one below is "nude"...but it presents as a dusty pink.  (I use it)

Re: Recommendations for a Particular Nail Color

I'm going to be of absolutely no help to you, but I just had to post in response because you reminded me of a nail polish color that I used back in the sixties when I was in high school, that matches your description.

It was Revlon Coconut Bisque.  I loved it so much, I used no other colors.  I bought bottle and bottle of this, for I can't remember how long.  Obviously, as you can tell, I've never forgotten it.

You would think living an additional 60 some years, I would have found something identical, but I never have.

Maybe, if I saw it today, I would think it wasn't anything so special.

Neither of these have shiny flakes but both have a lovely shimmer

@AngelPuppy1

I like Essie Sugar Daddy or Birthday Girl.  Pale pink, shimmer, frosted, no sparkly flakes.

@SilleeMeeDream Scene is gorgeous.

@AngelPuppy1 , do you go on etsy? You can get customized polish there, and I'm not sure where else. Also, if you go on YouTube there's ladies who do polish and you can ask them for recommendations.

I've been out of the loop for a while so I can't think of any right off. Another option is a pale pink with a topper.

I'm not sure if this is even in the ballpark of what you're looking for:

@AngelPuppy1

The PERFECT Color you are exactly looking for is by Avon (*VERY* Discontinued)But there's like 2-3 left on ebay.  (I've bought the rest  heh)   In fact, I'm shocked that these 2-3 are left.  I've combed ebay for ALL of them,  (even from Overseas)!

it' GORGEOUS!       (pics below of 1 Coat,  2 Coats  3 Coats)

I've spend beaucoup $$$  trying to find an alternative, incl many many many OPI, etc   & NOTHING comes even close.

  If I have to, I'll have to composite my own "Dazzle Pink" wannabe.

It's Avon "Gel "Finish" (Regular Nail Polish ) named "DAZZLE PINK"

   (Says "Gel" but doesnt need a UV light.  It's virtually, a strong, non chipping, regular nail polish)

I've worn it for YEARS, its gorgeous, everythihng you've described.

Each coats of course gets darker, but still a sheen, light ballerina pink.

One coat & it looks like a 'nude with personality."  Makes my fingers look longer, almost the color of pink flesh.

2nd coat, pearl-ier,  little pinker,  3rd coat, quite pink, ALL with shine.

I've wearing 3 coats now.  Abt every 3-5 days, I put on another coat, first 1, then 2, then 3.   And a favorite clear, near daily to keep it fresh looking & stronger nail.

Pics of Avon's DAZZLE PINK bottle display darker & less sheen, than 1 coat, and less pink than the real color

If it helps, I can post pics & revuews of the wannabe's I've been buying & buying  that FAILED my own "Dazzle Pink" criteria.

GOOD LUCK.
