Recommendations fofr Red Light Mask

From what I'm seeing and reading, etc., I'm thinking of purchasing one but really don't know which and there's so many choices.  I need a recommendation for one that's not super expensive but very efffective on aging skin.  Also, one that's easy to wear as I understand some are more uncomfortable or difficult to  keep in place.  I don't want to spend a fortune so  that's a consideration; however, I've heard that some really don't do much.  Any suggestions or advice?

There are multiple conversations on this topic, @patticakes.

Try using the search bar for Red Light Therapy or Red Light Masks.

Re: Recommendations fofr Red Light Mask

I use a Currentbody Series 2 mask. It's FDA cleared. I like it b/c of the way it cups around my face and not a flat mask. Has many more lights on it than the average mask. It also has an under-the-chin strap that has helped firm the skin in that area for me. Also worth noting is that the mask has several strategically placed deeper-penetrating lights which most other masks don't have. This is where those deep-penetrating lights are located:

Here's a picture of the curvature and chin strap on the mask. No other brand of mask has an under-the-chin strap.

Can you tell me where is the best place to buy it?

Re: Recommendations fofr Red Light Mask

I use the same one as @SilleeMee

I love how securely it stays in place, as well as the rubbery rings that fit around the eye sockets.

I upgraded to this after using the previous version Current Body mask.

I wouldn't say it's bargain priced, but it's worth it, to me.

@patticakes

I bought mine from amazon when it was on sale there. I realize that the mask is quite an investment so my advice is to look for it on sale. I got mine for over a hundred dollars off.

Sign up for emails on US.Currentbody dot com website to get their announcements about any sales there, too.

I bought mine directly from Current Body when they had a sale going on.  Sometimes they offer a new customer discount.

Re: Recommendations fofr Red Light Mask

I bought and like the current body from QVC when it was a TSV.  I had to return because after a couple of weeks it wouldn't stay lit. (yes-- I charged it).  This same thing happened with the current body TSV I bought the year before.  I am so jealous of the people that have a product that works.  But fool we twice and I can't buy again.

Hope you find one you like.

Does anyone know if red light is good or bad for age spots?

Thanks!

@justashopper

RLT can help reduce light hyperpigmentation mostly near the surface of the skin, for instance on acne scars.  But generally, treating dark spots isn't the main reason to use a RLT mask. It's mostly going to be for anti-aging with boosting collagen, reducing fine lines/wrinkles, texture and firmness. To reduce or remove dark brown spots would need some other method of treatment, possibly at the professional level depending on the extent of the pigmentation.

Re: Recommendations fofr Red Light Mask

I'm on my second Current Body RLT mask and it's the Series 2 like @SilleeMee and others have talked about.  My mask doesn't fit the best since I have a smaller face, but it fits well enough that I get treatment.  Both my Current Body masks are still working.

If my dog doesn't like you, neither do I.
