Real Deal Remedy Stick

I just ordered the Real Deal Discovery kit. I've never used any of LG's makeup before, except some eye shadow. Laura described the Remedy Stick as a primer. my question for you LG experts: can the Remedy Stick be used as an eyeshadow primer?

I'm excited to try these products. I just turned 60 ( OMG {#emotions_dlg.scared} ! ) and although my skin is not dry, I seem to have sort of a dry look when I use powders and powder blushes.
